Non-Exclusive Rights: The beats sold by OverTimeBeats.com are licensed to you for use in your musical and artistic efforts. You MUST respect the license of the beat that you purchase. With this agreement you can use the finished song in live performances. You can also press and sell your songs, place them on your album, Demo, Website, or Mixtape. You must give credit to the producer of the beat. It's understood and agreed that you don't have any OWNERSHIP RIGHTS and/or COPYRIGHTS on the Non-Exclusive beats that you purchase. The OWNER (Tim OT) retains all the rights of the beats unless the owner transfers the ownership rights to you when you purchase the beat EXCLUSIVELY. When you buy a Non-Exclusive beat you are paying for a LICENSE to use the beat for basic radio airplay, live performance use and up to 5000 commercial/profit copies; i.e. albums, EP's, mixtapes and paid internet downloads. The License Fee is not refundable. All beats are copyrighted. Any violations of this agreement or illegal use of the beats will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Exclusive Rights: By purchasing an EXCLUSIVE BEAT you acquire the CONDITIONAL OWNERSHIP rights for the beat. You will receive an EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS CONTRACT transferring ownership to you. You must give credit to the producer of the beat. You can use an exclusive beat for any purpose but it cannot be resold as is. It must contain vocals making it a song. Once you have purchased an Exclusive Beat, that beat will no longer be available for others to buy, it's yours. An Exclusive Beat may have been sold previously as a Non-Exclusive Beat and if it has this will be disclosed to you prior to purchase. Additional rights and restrictions are covered in the Exclusive Rights Contract. All beats are copyrighted. Any violations of this agreement or illegal use of the beats will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
